India’s first power sector Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) that is focused on owning and operating power transmission assets and solar assets was established in 2016 under the SEBI InvIT Regulations. It owns and operates over USD 2.8 billion worth of operational transmission and solar assets including 40 transmission lines with more than ~7,570 ckms length, 11 substations with 13,550 MVA transformation capacity and 100 MW (AC of solar generation capacity across 18 states and 1 Union Territory.

The entire operations were being managed manually before the automation process was initiated with IBSFINtech . Being manual process with limited resources at hand, it was a time-consuming activity for the organisation’s treasury team.
